Sergeant Marcus "Michael" Burns is an SAS soldier and a playable character in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. He is playable in "Mind the Gap."

BiographyEdit

SAS careerEdit

Burns was assigned to the 22nd SAS, with Sergeant Wallcroftand Corporal Griffen in Bravo Six They were tasked to investigate a group of suspicious trucks being loaded from the docks in London. Fighting their way to the truckyard using a combination of stealth and lethal force, Burns and company open the first World Charity Organization truck to reveal nothing. Makarov's men fall back into the tube and highjack a train, Bravo Six and Bravo Nine give chase in subway work trucks. The train derails under Westminster Abbey, killing Bravo Nine and Corporal Griffen in the process. Burns and Wallcroft fight through the station and, regrouping with other members of the SAS, manage to stop the second World Charity truck. However, they are unable to contain all the trucks, and Makarov's men release a chemical agent, causing innumerable casualties, including The Davis Family. Burns survives this event.

TriviaEdit

• Burns can be seen very briefly as the camera changes to his perspective from the UAV's, labeled as "Sgt. Burns."
• Burns and Wallcroft are the only two to survive both the train crash and the Terrorist chemical gas attack on London.
